About me
Pam Palena is a sustainability and climate risk researcher specializing in the insurance sector, with over a decade of experience spanning ESG analysis, impact investing, and asset management across public and private markets. At MSCI, she leads insurance sector research, drives ESG Ratings methodology development for financial institutions, and works with insurers and institutional investors to translate complex data into actionable insights. Prior to MSCI, she held roles at Ethos Foundation and Lombard Odier, where she built expertise in sustainable investment, corporate engagement, and asset management. Pam holds a BSc in Business Administration with a specialization in Banking & Finance from the HEG Geneva School of Business Administration.
