About me
Alex joined the LMA in April 2023 as Senior Executive for the Finance & Risk team, specializing in prudential risk, Corporate Sustainability & climate risk. In this capacity, he acts as the primary executive liaison for the Chief Risk Officers Committee (CROs) and is the key contact representing the Lloyd’s Managing Agents Sustainability Officers through the LMA's Sustainability Committee. Alex is recognized for his expertise in navigating the strategic impact of sustainability risks and opportunities, providing critical support to drive market strategy alongside his duties supporting the Finance and Committees and subgroups.
Before joining the LMA, Alex held several key market oversight roles at Lloyd’s, most recently as an Account Manager, with a focus on areas such as business planning, corporate sustainability, governance, and risk management. Prior to that, Alex held positions at the PRA and the FCA, where he worked as an Insurance London Market Supervisor and a governance policy expert, involved in Solvency II and the roll-out of SMCR to insurance firms. Alex’s career started at Standard & Poor’s, where he was an Insurance Ratings Analyst, covering Western Europe and the Lloyd’s Market.
